Myrtle Beach State Park

Hampton Plantation State Historic Site
Tucked away in the remote last vestiges of a colonial-era rice plantation, Hampton Plantation State Historic Site is both bucolic and evocative.
The plantation's Georgian-style mansion and well-kept grounds serve as an interpretive site for the system of slavery that helped build such plantations into the greatest generators of wealth in early American history. They also tell the story of the freed people who made their homes there for generations after emancipation.

Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site
Hampton Plantation is a quiet and serene state historic site, but in the 18th and 19th centuries it was a working rice plantation bustling with activity. Cannons boom. Muskets bark. Interpretive rangers in 17th century dress tend heirloom crops. They're all part of the "new" Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site.

Indigo Creek Golf Club

Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum
The Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum is the Grand Strand's home for contemporary art. The Art Museum is a showcase for living artists, dedicated to furthering the visual arts in northeastern South Carolina. It is Myrtle Beach's very own art museum and the only one of its kind in Horry County.
